Minnesota Statute 471.701, Article 2, Section 39 requires a county with a population of 15,000 or more (Polk County 31,364) to notify its residents annually of the position and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees.
This notice may be provided on the homepage of the primary website maintained by the political subdivision for a period of not less than 90 consecutive days, in a publication of the political subdivision that is distributed to all residents in the political subdivision, or as part of the annual notice of proposed property taxes prepared under section 275.065.

Polk County, Minnesota, is requesting written submittals from qualified surveyors to provide professional County Land Surveyor Services for up to thirty (30) hours a month, to primarily oversee our remonumentation projects, perform plat checking, provide contract administration and perform various Land Surveyor duties such as, but not limited to setting monuments, review of survey records, maintain county survey records, meet with public and county staff, and advise the county on best practices.
