East Grand Forks Family Resource Center is a place for area families to connect with different services and assistance as well as other parents for support.

Our Family Resource Centers are here to provide information on community resources, referrals to services, or assistance with the completion of applications and other paperwork. All services provided by Polk County are free to the public.

Some of our core services include Economic Assistance, Child Support, and WIC Consultations. Please stop by and let us assist you.

Core Services

Economic Assistance Program Support

Do you have questions about economic assistance program eligibility or need help with paperwork? Meet with a Economic Assistance program worker.

Held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 2:30-4:30 PM at the East Grand Forks Senior High Center.

Child Support Consultations

Meet with a Child Support staff member today to ask questions and get helpful information about child support for your family.

Held on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 2-4:30 PM at the East Grand Forks Senior High Center.

WIC Consultations

Meet with a WIC Worker to learn more about nutrition, support for breastfeeding, and assistance with applications for WIC.

Schedule an appointment on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 1-3 PM at the East Grand Forks Senior High Center.

Peer Recovery

Non-clinical recovery support to assist the transition into the recovery community, services, and support include education, advocacy, mentoring, attending recovery and other support groups, and appointments.

Schedule an appointment on Thursdays from 1-3 PM at the East Grand Forks Senior High Center.

Tri-Valley Opportunity Council

Tri-Valley Opportunity Council helps individuals connect to various services they offer including transportation, emergency assistance, energy assistance, and housing support.
